Clicker Training A Wild Horse [3]

Well, now I had it draped over her neck. Not bad, but I really needed it over her nose too, obviously. We'd played a little game, earlier, with her. It was the same game we played with Bubba at the card table. I'd had her poking her nose through the nose-piece in order to gain a "Click". Then she needed to put her nose back through it to get the treat from a small metal bowl. This is the direction I would take next.
"Nah, you can't put THAT thing near me!!!", Phantom said. I'm ready to Click and grab treats if she doesn't move too much ....
So her we go ... "Hummm", she thinks. "Seems similar. Hummmmm ..." --- So I CLICK for the hesitation ...
OK -- Now we're getting somewhere!! Phantom really started to play the Clicker game once she figured out that grain tasted yummy!! She was still quite concerned where I touched her. She followed very strict "Rules". Namely, Phantom had to "OK" any new Zone I wanted to touch. I followed all her guidelines ...
Tested this several times to make sure she had it down pat. I'm reaching for the treat, having just Clicked her.
I really needed two hands to be able to take up slack AND tie the halter. So I started in with the right hand. She looked around to see what I was trying to get away with. Smart girl!! I hadn't asked permission yet!!
