Poker? Yes, Poker playing with a Wild Horse!! Barry, on the left, I am on the right. Bubba is in the middle and is the Horse, if you hadn't guessed. Bubba is a 2 year old Mustang and absolutely does anything possible to avoid having a human even "Think" about touching him. I noticed though that Bubba was extremely curious and seemed a very playful Lad. So I changed the "Settings" that Bubba was used to. I used Clicker Training to signal that I wanted him to come and play Poker. Eventually, Bubba placed his nose through the red rope halter on the left. I held it in the center of the table. Then Barry held it and slipped it on Bubba. We both touched Bubba's cheeks with cards then hands. If we ignored him, he's sneak around the table and stick his neck under our arms to see if one of us had the treat-bag. He obviously caught on to the Clicker Game. We haltered him easily after the game was over.
By the way, I think Barry is a range Cowboy and Poker player from Reno Nevada.

This is Drizzle and her brand new filly. Drizzle is a POA. I had been "Checking" on her every night as I walked by her foaling paddock. She'd let me know she was there but do nothing more. One night she came over to me and turned sideways asking for a good back-rub. Somehow I knew she was telling me she was going to Foal soon, just like my own mare, Rosie, does. The next morning she had the colt right across from where I walk up to her paddock and within a half hour of the time I usually walk out!!
