Agrippa (Son of Bandit [Kuv] ) is politely curious. Vorenus,  puppy that he is, just sees another Kuvasz and wants to play-play-play!

Vorenus goes for his first walk to meet the other players.

Next,  it is up the hill to greet Badger, the oldest of the LGD's. He's too sweet.  He also holds the current "Kill-Count" record for predators (real ones)  So do not underestimate him. Badger was totally wonderful: "Yup... another puppy, Bob.. Looks good."

So, I cradle Vorenus and allow only a brief period of nose-nose.  Then I let Agrippa sniff other parts of the puppy. Agrippa was fine the next day when he saw Vorenus..

Agrippa is on the outside of the X-Pen, a 20x10 area inside the Leroy-Barn,  named for a wonderful Kuvasz who worked here and lived out a fruitful life. Puppy seems happy to be amongst BWD's.

Into Lilly's pen.  She is recovering from a nasty attack by another female, Atia. Lilly, a mother herself once, greets the youngster warmly. Lilly is remaining in here until the Vet certifies her to return to work.  he and I communicate via pictures and email.

It is the next day,  and we are off to get Shot#2 of the Puppy-Inoculations.  It is about a 40 minute drive to the Vet's office. This will be a long day for Vorenus as we do other chores when forced to leave the farm.

About that time, a handful of nosey sheep came into the view of Vorenus. That is old #52 in front of him.  #52 was raised by Abbey, a Great Pyrenees. 52 really thinks he is an LGD. His tail came up.  Yet he remained quiet, taking his cue from the other LGD's.  Vorenus was not intimidated by the sheep.

I'll explain what a "Babe-Magnet" is in a minute. Right now, listen to Vorenus,  clearly a Centurion: VORENUS: OMG Boss. Shut-Up ! Check out that beautiful female who is walking to see me. Let me sit down by myself. You are embarrassing me, Boss!"

We arrive and I can't help but want a picture of the wee laddie. One of these days he will be taking up a lot of room on the Doggie-Deck there. He weighs but 23 pounds today,  at nine weeks old.

VORENUS: Hey good looking,  want to see my "Dog-Deck" out in my "Wheels" !

The Fluffy Kuvasz brings in the Babes. I get the X-Ray-Machine-Magnet thrown at me if I dare look at them ! And guess who is taking the pictures?? Yup. SWMBO, Mary!!

Next we try on newfangled Harness assemblies and buy one. I find that using a well built harness in the field makes it easier if I must suddenly move a puppy out of harms way. I simply pull the lead-line and lift/drag the puppy safely.  With any collar on, I fear that pulling by neck and head is "not so smart".

After the Vet check-up and next round of shots, we head to "Moes" for Burritos. The lady and Daughter are eyeing Vorenus.  He goes over to met them and the next table wants to meet him ...

Mary goes into Kroger's to get a small amount of groceries and Vorenus tells me to turn the Air-Conditioning up to "High".

Kath 00 taught all her puppies to use a Litter-Pan thereby making it a totally wonderful experience to bring a new Kuvasz Puppy into the home. So here we are at Tractor Supply to get a few bags of Equine Stall Pellets, Pine Scent. I see, when I come back, that Vorenus has climbed into the front area and is displacing Mary. He is a crafty little devil, believe me. I already have him Target-Trained, in the beginning stages of my Clicker-Training of Vorenus. He caught on faster, by a count of 7 instead of 8, that MiHa, a gifted horse. So let's see what the young warlock is up to here.

With clearly no room in the front anymore, Vorenus asks Mary to sit in the bed of the truck for the ride home. We cruise through Mac-D's and he orders a Yogurt-Smoothie then licks both drinks to claim them.  So, I guess,  asking Vorenus to ride in the back where the Ovcharka ride, Doggie-Deck, is now out of the question, right? So, meet my little Jewish Kuvasz alright.  What's a guy to do? Vorenus, I do all this for you, and this is what I get? Oy Veh!

With the A/C Vent right on him, on medium blow, he dozes off in the long day ...

VORENUS: Whoa ... MOM,  was that a deer that just left the other end of this row?

yes it was .. they are grazing on the easy access to the plentiful Blackberries and safety of the surrounding LGD's. We think it is nifty.  I guess the deer do too.

VORENUS: Next a trek to the "Verger  Nouveau" with Mom ! I've never been here!.
